Save Our Souls Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2016
The fruit used to craft this Skin on Skin Chardonnay was hand harvested in whole bunches, transferred to tank, and pressed after 6 weeks of maceration. The resulting wine features a pale straw colour with bright green highlights. The attractive bouquet exudes scents of ripe stone fruits, curry leaves and spearmint, making way for a rich and textured palate filled with flavours of stone fruit, spice and earth. The aromas and flavours are supported by a firm acid balance as well as juicy tannins, offering a great length and a savoury finish. Suggested food pairings include steamed fish, creamy vegetable soups, and risotto with spring vegetables.
